Community Development Match Fund

The Community Development Match Fund is about helping groups deliver new initiatives that foster strong, innovative and vibrant communities, by contributing 50% of the project costs up to $10,000.

The Community Development Match Fund aims to:

  • empower communities to improve and strengthen their neighbourhoods
  • connect communities by encouraging them to work, play and talk together
  • renew and revitalise local places and spaces
  • improve the quality of life in communities and neighbourhoods

There are two different size grants you can apply for – small (up to $1,000) or medium (up to $10,000). Small grants can be applied for at any time. You will be notified if your application is successful within three weeks. Medium grants are available twice a year – May and November.

Applicants will be advised of the outcome within two weeks of the assessment panel meeting.
