Community grant funding builds upon and supports community-led initiatives which help create positive change and enhance the community’s ability to meet its own needs and develop local community leadership.

Community grants are provided to support the delivery of a clearly defined activity, project or initiative.

Who can apply?
- applications are welcomed from community organisations, schools, kura, not for profit early childhood education providers and organisations delivering kaupapa Maori outcomes.
What can get funded?
- all applications must demonstrate contribution to at least one of the Principles of Support
- there are some things we don’t fund.
